Stayed here for almost 1 week whole visiting family and touring DC. Conveniently located. Nice amenities. Kids enjoyed the pool and mini golf. They have tours to DC locations. Highly recommend the nightly tour they offer with just those staying at the campgrounds. Took us to all the sites we wanted to see and very knowledgeable tour guide and nice prices. Fairly quiet park but our site was near the freeway so not really away from the city but we didn't hear it much when in our RV at night.
Definitely would recommend!
Great and friendly staff! The kids loved the multiple playgrounds and the mini golf. The tractor ride around the campground was fun and the camp store was well stocked. The biggest issue we had was the tent area. The campground is HUGE with a lot of RV camping but the main tent area was right by the highway! There was so much traffic noise that we couldn't hear people around the campfire. Sleeping was difficult even with earplugs. It's a shame that they chose to put the tents there instead of some RVs who wouldn't be as affected by the constant noise.
This campsite was the best I have ever been at. The people were super sweet and immaculately clean. Everyone said hi and is there anything we can help you with today. The showers were scrubs three times a day. And the bathrooms were equally as nice. After received a veteran's discount on an already great deal well well worth the money.
First of the park facilities were great and really well looked after. Staff also very good. Only issue was that we we're camping in a tent and the site is way to close to lots of major highways (literally a few hundred yards away from interstate junctions). Lots of road noise which does not really reduce during evening so would not be back for this reason.
Stayed at Cherry Hill for 3 nights and was very impressed with the resort. From arrival to departure the staff was friendly and helpful. The campground is very clean and well maintained. It offers many amenities along with a 1 hour presentation of how to manuever around D.C. and sightseeing options using tour buses and the metro line. Cherry Hill offers their own evening tour of D.C. that is a must!! Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained the full 5 hours of our tour. I highly recommend Cherry Hill to anyone wanting to visit D.C. and needing a great place to stay!!
Had a stocked store with many things you might need for camping. And some food supplies. Has a grill and ice cream cafe by pool which was good. Laundry facilities were clean and a lot of machines so I never had to wait.
